Presidents Corner:
Volunteer Auditor
SF Bay ISSA Treasurer Joan Rose, is seeking a volunteer to audit the books. The audit involves checking for statements and receipts and that expenses and credits are accounted. The volunteer will be awarded 4 CPE credits for their time.
CISSP Training
SFBayISSA is offering their annual CISSP training course from April 19 through June 21. Sessions will be held on Thursday evenings from 5:30- 8:30 p.m. at the First Republic Bank building at 111 Pine Street in San Francisco. Deadline to register is Monday, April 12, 2012. We are limiting the study session to 40 participants, so early registration is highly recommended. Cost is $40 for associated members (ISSA, ISACA, InfraGard) and $75 for non-members payable via check on the first night of the class (April 19th). This fee does not include a study guide. and infrastructure processes related to security.  His focus is on protecting information to help align IT strategy with business objectives, proactively respond to consumer/stakeholder pressure, and navigate the various security related compliance requirements. Clint has assisted clients with PCI and other data security and privacy issues in Technology, Consumer & Retail, Financial Services, and Higher Education sectors.

Ted is Director of GSI programs at Voltage Security in Cupertino California. Ted has more than 12 years of experience working with IT security and compliance programs and technologies. Ted has led and executed on security & controls related technology implementations, compliance program development, IT package selection, PCI compliance assessments, privacy assessments, SOX IT readiness, and FDA compliance related projects. Ted has worked with leading companies in Technology, Retail, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Hospitality.
