Congratulations to Joan Rose, SFBAY ISSA treasurer on becoming an ISSA Distinuguished Fellow. Attached below is a picture of Joan receiving her plaque.
 
 
The October chapter meeting feaured four chapter members speaking about different security topics. Among them were the abovementioned Joan Rose (pictured below), Hugh Deura (pictured below), Gopi Ramamoorthy (also pictured below) and Louis Smith.

This year we have a special opportunity for you during our Annual Membership Drive:
 
When you refer one person who becomes a new member, you will receive your renewal Chapter Membership free for one year! In addition for each new member you refer, you you will be entered into the drawing to win an Expo Plus Pass for the 2013 RSA Conference!
 
The drawing winner will be announced at our Wednesday, Feb. 13th, 2013 meeting.
 
The real value of your participation in our Membership Drive comes with the sense of satisfaction that you have personally contributed to the success of our Chapter and the important work we all do for our industry.
 
In the coming year, we plan to have more events and foster collaboration between members. Your 2013 membership dues will help us continue our work on a number of projects which include:

Please continue to share in the goals and benefits of SFBAYISSA membership with people you know in your workplace and in the InfoSec community.  You can help us spread the word by encouraging others to become members.
